Sometimes we are faced with making our hopes and dreams come true a little faster than we expect. This was the case for Christina and Steve.

Christina was about 6 months pregnant with their third child but they wanted to get married before their baby was born. No big deal! They still had 3-4 months, which was enough time to plan an intimate wedding with just immediate family. So the planning began!
They did their research. They looked to facebook for wedding photographer referrals. They collected vendors’ names. Ready with vendors to call, they first reached out to their church, Queen of Peace of Church.
Well… the church was ready to marry Christina and Steven right away! Jaw drop! What? Plan a wedding within a few days? No! Although possible, they decided to schedule their intimate ceremony for 3 weeks later.
3 months of wedding planning turned into 3 weeks of planning their special day. All while taking care of 2 kids and pregnant. It was go time.
Christina’s favorite part of planning their intimate wedding was dress shopping. She loved the fittings, she loved the alterations. She loved seeing herself wearing her wedding dress and couldn’t wait for her groom to see her in it.
Their big day was finally here – the day they dreamt of for so many years. It could’t have been a more perfect day, or at least to the naked eye. It was sunny, it was warm – no threatening clouds in the skies. It was magical.
Christina walked down the aisle toward her groom, happy as can be. Steven stood by the alter smiling at his bride as she inched closer and closer to him. Their families stared at them as tears of joy escaped their eyes. This moment that lasts only a few seconds, feels like hours, but is awaited for a lifetime, was finally here. This was the dream moment Christina and Steven was waiting for. And it is their favorite memory of their intimate wedding.
Did anyone catch how I said, “it could’t have been a more perfect day, or at least to the naked eye”? Well, due to technical difficulties, Christina’s maid-of-honor had to go buy a new dress the morning of the wedding! It’s one of those wedding day nightmares – the dress won’t zip! Ahh! But it’s also a very fixable problem. Her maid-of-honor went to a store that morning and made it back to the ceremony looking stunning!
Tips from the Bride: Christina’s advice is to not sweat the small stuff because everything works out the way it’s meant to be.
