India House – New York City
Joseph and Cynthia – April 23, 2016

Joseph and Cynthia had a chic New York City Wedding. There was no hustle and bustle city craziness about their wedding. Regardless of the Uber service taking a little longer than expected, the day was calm and joyful. Only close friends and relatives attended the momentous day which began at the
Andaz Hotel. Joseph got ready with some of his groomsmen while Cynthia was accompanied by her bridesmaids and mother. The day continued with a church ceremony at the
Church of St. Micheal and cocktail and reception at the beautiful
India House.
Shades of purple was seen throughout the wedding. From the bridesmaids dresses, to pieces in the rose and calla lily bouquets, to the groomsmens’ ties. It all screamed ROMANTIC!
Our best friends are there to, not only, help us get ready, but also to make sure we leave on time!
Who better, than Mom, to help on such an important day?
Can’t leave without a special scent to stimulate the olfactory receptors.
Waiting for that Uber with a smile on her face!
The anticipation, emotions and the butterflies at this moment are REAL and indescribable!
“You may kiss the bride”!
Sometimes, friends get jealous and want some love as well. There is nothing wrong with that!
…and then the dancing began!
The superstition that the groom cannot see his bride to be is an old tradition from arranged marriages. It was thought that if the groom saw his bride, he might leave. Others believed that seeing the bride in her dress is peering into the future, which can bring bad luck.
